Tips for preparing to move in!

The purchase of a home is one of the biggest and most important purchases we make. After the process to finalize the purchase we are in a bliss of emotions; Happy, excited, overjoyed, etc. Right now that the market is booming, we would like to share a few tips on what we recommend you take care of prior to moving in.

- Change the locks to your doors.

- Find and label your main water shut off valve. This will come in handy if you happen to have a broken water pipe.

- Find and know where you electrical box is, just in case you have an emergency.

- Find and label your main gas shut off valve, if you have one.

- Create an escape plan in case you have an emergency and have to evacuate quickly.

- Clean the carpets if necessary before the heavy furniture is delivered.

- Have your ducts cleaned if necessary, you do not want dust circulating in your home.
